Kano is a substantial 9.5m catamaran, originally completed for commercial charter work but now refitted with a focus on versatility, functionality and self-sufficiency. The extensive 2022 refit included a new custom-built wheelhouse, full 12V and 230V systems, diesel heating, overhauled outboards, and a clean, practical deck layout — making her equally suited to leisure use, fishing trips, or returning to commercial service with recoding.
She has been previously coded and the owners have the paperwork for this so it could be returned to code if required.
The twin Suzuki 175HP outboards sit on hydraulic jack plates and received a full mechanical overhaul in 2022. The large aft cockpit, tough FRP construction, and walkaround deck with high bulwarks all reflect her commercial heritage, while the compact galley and enclosed wheelhouse heads offer the basics for extended days afloat or shelter and facilities for anyone working her as a crewed boat commercially.
Her catamaran design offers excellent stability and deck space for her size, and with electric windlass, solar charging, modern wiring, and practical systems, she’s a highly usable and capable platform — whether for fun or for work.
