2003 DUFOUR 40 PERFORMANCE
XBOAT ref :6264.
The owner tells us:
I am selling my DUFOUR 40 PERFORMANCE purchased in 2021 with which I sailed in the Mediterranean before preparing it for a transatlantic crossing in 2024 (Arc Antillais). Back in mainland France, it is currently stored on land and is ready to go again after minor cosmetic and electrical work to be planned (mast light cable and anchor lights). It is a 2-cabin version with a deep draft, an enlarged forward cabin berth, a large shower separate from the WC, and a WEEBASTO air heating system. Its standing rigging was changed in 2018 and its DCX sails date from 2021. It is energy self-sufficient (4 x 400W solar panels with a VICTRON ENERGY MPPT regulator) and is equipped with 3 x 110 Ah service batteries from 2024 and a 90 Ah engine battery. My DUFOUR 40 PERFORMANCE is prepared for long-distance cruising with complete onboard electronics (RAYMARINE navigation center, marinized PC with a swivel-mounted display and OPEN CPN, 2024 EPIRB beacon, AIS Black Box 800S/N transmitter/receiver, FURUNO NX300 Navtex, TRANSOCEAN 6-person survival raft 2023, 100m main anchor line...).

The Dufour 40, launched at the beginning of the 2000s, embodies the alliance of performance and comfort, claimed by the Rochelaise shipyard. The firstborn of the new Dufour range, it quickly seduced boaters and racers, winning the title of "Boat of the Year 2003". Designed by the Franco-Italian duo Umberto Felci (hull) and Patrick Roséo (deck and fittings), this monohull of nearly 12 meters is aimed at both cruising enthusiasts and racing enthusiasts.
