General Remarks

The Kirie Daytona 650 is a distinctive and increasingly hard-to-find sports cruiser from the highly regarded French Kirie yard, a builder known for producing stylish and well-considered boats with strong sea-keeping credentials. "Jeroen" is a rare example of this striking model, offering a blend of classic European sports boat styling with practical day boating and occasional overnight capability.

Her red and white hull gives her a smart presence on the water, while the squared off lines and well-proportioned layout make her stand out from more common production boats in this size range. The cockpit is sociable and well laid out, with swivel helm and navigator seating, aft bench seating, cockpit table and a recently reupholstered sunpad creating an enjoyable space for relaxing at anchor or spending time with family and friends.

Access around the boat is helped by stainless steel guard rails to the foredeck, with useful features including a swim platform, swim ladder, bow roller and anchor. A full enclosure cover, renewed in 2026, adds valuable protection and extends usability through the season.

I think the Kirie Daytona 650 is one of those boats that really stands out from the crowd. They are a rare sight now and this is from a yard with a genuinely strong reputation for building stylish, capable boats. "Jeroen" has a lot going for her, particularly with the replacement engine and the recent cockpit cover renewal.

She is clearly a boat that could really reward the next owner with a bit of effort cosmetically, but the fundamentals feel very appealing. The layout works well, the cockpit is sociable, and the overall lines of the boat still look fantastic. For someone wanting something a little less ordinary with plenty of style and a sporty feel on the water, this is a very interesting option.
