The toilet is a vacuum system and does not discharge directly into open water. A heater is installed for heating, contributing to comfort during colder sailing days.
Engine and Technical Equipment
The Victoire 933 is equipped with a Yanmar 2GM20 inboard diesel engine with a power of 17 hp. This two-cylinder engine starts electrically and consumes about 1.5 liters of diesel per hour. The fuel tank has a capacity of 30 liters. The cruising speed is around 7 km/h, with a maximum speed of 8 km/h. The engine is operational and supported by an alternator and a solar panel for the onboard electrical systems. There are two batteries with a total capacity of 210 Ah, operating on a 12V system.

For safety, a liferaft is available, although it has not been recently inspected. The cockpit is self-draining, and there is a manual bilge pump on board. A notable extra is the Clipper wind vane steering system, which the owner claims functions effectively during ocean crossings. This addition makes the vessel suitable for longer trips without constant manual steering.
History and Sailing Experience
The Victoire 933 has an interesting history. The first owner, a ship carpenter, finished the hull according to his own insights and made several modifications compared to the original design. Both the first and second owners undertook major sea voyages with the vessel. The third owner mainly used the yacht in the Zeeland delta. The current owner has had the ship for three years and has sailed it to places such as South England, the Isles of Scilly, the Channel Islands, and Brittany. The boat is therefore not only suitable for inland waters but has also proven itself on the open sea.
Maintenance and Condition
The boat was taken out of the water for maintenance in 2024, during which an antifouling treatment was also performed. No signs of osmosis were found. However, it is noted that the deck and hull would benefit from a polish or a new coat of paint. The sails are in reasonable condition, with some parts showing more signs of use than others.
