Big Blue is a well-presented example of the ever-popular Sea Ray 310 Sundancer, offering a practical and sociable layout combined with dependable diesel performance. This model is well regarded for its balance of comfort and capability, making it equally suited to coastal cruising and extended weekends aboard.
The current owner has invested both time and care into maintaining and upgrading the vessel. A comprehensive programme of works has been carried out in recent years, including significant mechanical attention such as turbo work, riser replacement, refurbished heat exchangers, and a full outdrive service with new bellows and universal joints, this gives a new owner confidence that is has been well looked after. More recent works in 2025 include antifouling, anodes, hull preparation with Gelshield epoxy, and a full compound and polish.
On deck, the addition of the Dek-King faux teak, replacing the standard carpet, provides a smart and practical finish, complemented by a full set of cockpit canopies which have benefitted from window renewal. The cockpit itself offers a generous social space, ideal for entertaining or relaxing at anchor.
Below decks, the layout is both functional and comfortable, with a forward double berth and a well-sized aft cabin, along with a heads compartment accessible from both the saloon and aft cabin. The upholstery is reported to be in very good condition for the age, contributing to a welcoming interior space. She is fitted with Air-Con (Heat and Cool) for comfort in winter and summer.
The inventory also reflects thoughtful upgrades including, inverter, bow thruster with remote, and a well-rounded navigation package. A 2023 survey is available for inspection by request.
Overall, Big Blue represents a well-maintained and extensively updated example of this popular sports cruiser.
In my view Big Blue is a boat that has clearly been enjoyed and consistently looked after by her current owner. It’s not often you see an example where so much has been done in recent years, particularly in terms of both mechanical servicing and general upkeep.
She presents very well for her age, with the upholstery and overall cosmetic condition standing out, and the upgrades such as the decking and navigation equipment really adding to the package. The engine work and recent servicing should also give a level of reassurance to the next owner.
She feels like a solid, honest example of the 310 Sundancer—ready to be enjoyed in the same way the current owner has used her.
