The Neptunian 33 is a timeless and rugged cruiser, designed by renowned naval architect Alan Buchanan and built by Tyler Boat Company. This centre-cockpit ketch is a true offshore-capable cruiser, combining traditional seaworthiness with comfortable liveaboard accommodation. Built to a high standard with a solid GRP hull and long keel, the Neptunian 33 is known for its exceptional stability, safety, and forgiving handling in heavy weather—making it ideal for coastal cruising or extended passages. The ketch rig provides a flexible sail plan, allowing easy short-handed sailing and balanced performance in a wide range of conditions. Built to Lloyd register +100A1.
'Magic Wind' would make a great live-aboard for someone who is also looking to undertake some further afield cruising. A recent survey from 2022 is available on request. Blistering on the hull and rudder were found but deemed to not be leading to any de-lamination. She has previously had preventive epoxy osmosis treatment.
Owners comments - 'I have lived on Magic Wind for the last 12 years. She was sailed regularly up until 4 years ago around the Solent but she has a much larger sailing potential in her. As I live on the boat I can say that at this time she is in a very sound condition. The only possible thing you may want to upgrade is new batteries'.
