Accommodation :
Forward cabin with double berth offset to port, under berth storage, hanging locker, storage lockers, chain locker access hatch. Opening portlights to the deck opening roof hatch. Bi-fold door leading towards the the saloon with heads compartment to port. Through to the saloon with settees to port and starboard, port settee can be extended to give a double berth. Plenty of storage behind and under each settee, including a chart locker. Lockers and bookshelves above and outboard of the settees. Roof-mounted teak grabrails to port and starboard along length of saloon.
Hinged dining table secured against the forward bulkhead mounted bar rack, table easily lowered and in position is offset to port with a hinged leaf to extend the table to starboard. Opening portlights and opening roof hatches, LED lighting, courtesy / night light at entrance, large number of lockers throughout.
U shaped galley to starboard. Bi-fold door to port to aft cabin. On entering the aft cabin, hinged chart table at forward end with switch panel. Chart table can be hinged up to close off aft cabin from saloon.
The aft cabin has a large double berth with hanging locker, storage, opening portlight to the cockpit.

100% hand laid fibreglass construction throughout with special gelcoats for durability. All gelcoats applied using premium, high volume, low pressure application equipment for the exceptional quality finish. Island Packets exclusive PolyClad® II hull bottom gelcoat finish system that from new had a 10 year limited warranty against osmosis blisters.
Hull moulded in one piece using a pressure fed application system with high modulus triaxial glass, unified with an engineered interior grid structure and moulded structural base unit. Deck laminate cored with advanced PolyCore, a proprietary microsphere and resin matrix with, from new, a 10 year limited warranty for rot and delamination.
Exclusive Durashield® deck, hull, topsides and interior gelcoat system superior gloss retention and resistance to fading and crazing. Teak pulpit area, wide teak toerail and coaming trims, with teak fittings to cockpit.

In current ownership from 2018 to date and rarely available in the UK, the Island Packet 320 is the perfect combination of elegant, classy blue water performance, robust and forgiving seakindliness and an interior that gives as much as many 38-40 footers, all of which keeps even adventurous sailing manageable, ownership practical and yet light on the pocket in the marina.
Yacht Providence, hull 36 of 54 designed and built by Bob Johnson of Island Packet Yachts, Florida, is a solid and durable fibreglass encapsulated lead long keeled cruiser, which has been in the UK since launched and has seen light use and wear. With full ownership history, she has been regularly serviced and updated with new equipment, professionally maintained, lifted out each winter with sails and canvas removed, laundered and serviced when necessary, hull polished and below the waterline, fully rubbed back and antifouled.
Cutter rigged with neat self tacking Hoyt boom-contolled staysail, large powerful 130% genoa, both on Harken rollers and a single line reefing main sail, providing flexibility and versatility, all controlled from the cockpit by four self-tailing Lewmar winches. Yanmar 3GM30F inboard diesel engine, with a Featherstream 3 bladed feathering propeller giving a cruising speed of 5-6 knots. Stainless steel ‘weed shoe’ protecting the propeller and rudder.
