La Buse was bought in 2011 in Newton Ferrers from one previous owner. She has been well maintained with all engineering maintenance done professionally – currently by John Williams. The 85hp Nanni diesel inboard has low hours & has proved an excellent engine. (A new control unit was installed in 2018 & the old hours monitor disconnected but still readable. New engine hours are recorded on new unit). A new turbo was installed in 2023. A four bladed prop was fitted by previous owner to improve the performance - the original 3 blade propeller is retained. Economical cruising speed is @ 10 – 12 knots with a max of @ 15 – 16 knots subject to load. A Mariner 6hp long shaft outboard with integral tank is fitted – this is as new (bought 2017 but under 2 hours run time on service only and never used at sea).
A Raymarine Dragonfly 7 navigation system is fitted as is an ICON VHF DSC radio – both with inbuilt GPS and in full working order. There is a disconnected domestic radio in the cabin. The 2 cabin lights need new bulbs as not used.
La Buse has 2 berths, a sea toilet (fully operational but never used). A portable butane gas cooker & sink are included and are designed to be fitted under the drive seats – again never used. A portable cool box is also included.
