A compact trailer sailer, designed for coastal cruising and ease of handling. It features a lifting keel (shallow draft with keel up) and a fractional sloop rig — making it versatile for both trailering and sailing in varied water depths.
"Sandpiper" is a 2003 Parker 235 version with Lifting Keel and an ePropulsion Spirit 1.0 plus long shaft 1kQW Electrical Outboard Motor. Sandpiper has a large aft double berth, seats to port and starboard (single berths), forward galley area and separate heads compartment with a cassette toilet. New mast and standing / running rigging done in 2019. Cushions re-upholstered 2022, antifoul to be completed early 2026. New leisure battery fitted in 2024.
