‘Spangles’ is a particularly smart example of the Moody 31 MkII, designed by Bill Dixon and built by Marine Projects. Well looked after throughout her life and thoughtfully upgraded in recent years, she presents as a solid, capable cruising yacht with the kind of charm and character only a well-kept Moody can offer.
The current owners have actively sailed her throughout the Bristol Channel and along the Pembrokeshire coast, enjoying her performance and reliability in a variety of conditions. With a replacement engine, upgraded rigging, recent sails, modern electronics, and a solid inventory, she’s very well set up for more coastal adventures.
A proper sailor’s boat in genuinely good order, and a pleasure to step aboard.
