2011 38 Remarks :

“TAKE FIVE” has a striking Oxford Blue hull colour and extensive inventory, this example of the Southerly 38 and must be seen to be appreciated.

The Southerly 38 is undoubtedly a quality yacht which offers a unique package of an easy-to-handle sail plan, an owner’s aft cabin of the size more usually found on a centre cockpit layout plus lift keel versatility and deep draught performance.

The Southerly 38 features a hydraulic swing keel that you can raise or lower at the push of a button, offering a draft range from approximately 8.5 ft (2.6 m) to just 2.7 ft (0.8 m)—ideal for exploring shallow harbours, drying out on tidal flats, or navigating inland waterways.

Owners Remarks

This is an incredibly well specified yacht in immaculate condition with a beautiful Oxford blue hull. We have reluctantly decided to sell and move onto motor cruising but would otherwise keep her indefinitely. She has a full maintenance history and is ready to go.
