This Scanmar 345 was built in 1990 to a design by Rolf Magnusson. The Scanmar 345 is a well-respected yacht. She has been owned by the current owner for the past 14 years and is being sold due to a change in personal circumstances. She offers seven berths with a single and double aft cabin, a double berth forward and two single berths in the saloon. Her Head compartment has a 60 Litre holding tank. Accommodation :
This Scanmar 345 is fitted out in high-quality Mahogany woodwork and has 1.8m headroom. It offers seven berths in three cabins and the saloon. The forward cabin, with a removable infill, offers either two single or a good-sized double berth. The saloon has two settee berths and a drop leaf table.
The chart table is to starboard and is outboard facing with a swing-out navigation button seat. Opposite is the L-Shaped galley to port. It has a double stainless steel sink with hot and cold pressurised water. top-loading fridge and two-burner hob with oven and grill. It has a 12V fridge and plenty of galley stowage. Hot water is provided by the clorifier tank, heated by the engine and also a 240V immersion heater. The freshwater tank holds 125 litres.
There is an aft double cabin to Port with a hanging locker. There is a single aft cabin which is accessed via the head compartment. The heads compartment has a Jabsco marine heads with a 60 litre holding tank, basin and shower. There are curtains to the saloon and blue upholstery in the saloon and cabins.
Companion steps led up to the cockpit, which can easily seat seven people and it has a good arrangement of lockers for fenders, warps etc.

Built by Scanmar Yachts to a Rolf Magnusson design in 1990 this 345 has a white hand laid-up hull with red-style strips at the waterline and topsides. White GRP coachroof with moulded non-skid decks. Flexiteek cockpit seats and teak sole grating. It has self self-draining cockpit and anchor well. Cast iron fin keel with Whitlock wheel steering to a single rudder. Stainless steel safety rails. The yacht is currently ashore at the Medway Yacht Club, Upnor, Kent. The owner is only selling due to change in personal circumstances.

This Scanmar 345 has a fractional Bermudan sloop rig with an ISOMAT keel-stepped alloy mast and Selden boom. The boom was new in 2011. It has stainless steel standing rigging that was last replaced in 2011. A Manual backstay tensioner. It has Terylene running rigging with all lines led aft to the cockpit. Running rigging has been changed as required. It has a slab reefing mainsail with lazyjacks and a furling genoa—alloy spinnaker pole.

Mechanical Systems
This Scanmar 345 has a single Volvo 2003, 28HP, 3-cylinder diesel engine with a saildrive to a 2-blade folding propeller.. The saildrive gaitor was replaced in 2021. The engine has direct cooling. The engine was last serviced in 2021 by French Marine. There is a 70-litre stainless steel fuel tank. She has a cruising speed of 5 knots and a top speed of 7 knots.
Electrical Systems
3 x 12-volt batteries (1 x engine + 2 x domestic ), age not known. All charging from alternator and via 240v shore power system with ring main, immersion heater and battery charger.
