The Hallberg Rassy 39 is a very popular, comfortable and superbly constructed cruising yacht that you will want to sail anywhere, anytime and in any weather. Designed by German Frers, the layout is perfect, with everything just where it should be, the hallmark of a Hallberg Rassy yacht. Powered by a 55hp Volvo Penta D2 diesel engine fitted in 2008. New upholstery covers throughout and saloon seat base foam renewed 2025. Bow thruster to aid berthing, inflatable dinghy and 5hp Suzuki outboard.
Accommodation :
Forward cabin with V berth with infill cushion to convert to a double berth. Opening roof hatch, opening portlights, storage lockers, hanging locker, under berth storage. Moving aft, door leading to heads compartment to port and hanging locker and seat to starboard.
Privacy curtain leading through to the saloon with L shaped settee to port and bench settee to starboard, both can be used as single berths. Lee cloths fitted to both settees. Starboard settee seatback lifts to give a larger berth or provide extra storage behind. Port settee has storage behind seatbacks. Opening saloon roof hatch and fixed and opening portlights.
Central dining table with drop leaves and bottle storage. Galley to starboard and navigation station to port. Navigation station with seat with storage under and opening portlight.
Aft of navigation station, walkthrough to aft cabin with doors to the engine room, locker and hanging locker off the walkthrough.
Aft cabin with double berth to starboard and single berth to port, lee cloths, seat, hanging locker to port, vanity shelf and mirror, opening roof hatch, two opening portlights and one aft fixed portlight.
All interior woodwork in light mahogany, carpets, curtains and blinds throughout, carpets with press studs to avoid movement over the varnished teak and holly flooring. Aft cabin and saloon Hella fans, mini safe. Hanging lockers and engine room fitted with automatic lights. New mattresses and all upholstery covers renewed throughout and new saloon seat base foam 2025.

Comment
The hulls and decks of Hallberg-Rassys are built under supervision of the Lloyd's Register of Shipping. The hull is of laminate construction by the hand lay-up method, insulated above water line against heat and cold with PVC foam. The lead keel with reinforcement is bolted on with 15 stainless steel bolts. The rudder is carefully mounted for sensitive rudder feel. The cockpit is protected with a strong windscreen with opening centre section and sprayhood over front part of cockpit.
