Accommodation :

The accommodation on the Broom 33 motor cruiser is well known for being spacious and practical for a 33-foot motor yacht, typically offering comfortable cruising accommodation for up to six people in two cabins plus the saloon. The layout is arranged on split levels to maximise interior space and separation between living areas.

Access and Saloon

Entry from the aft cockpit is through a central companionway leading down a short flight of steps to the main saloon. The saloon is bright and sociable, finished in traditional varnished timber with large windows providing good natural light. To starboard, there is a comfortable L-shaped settee with a table, which can convert into an additional double berth when required. Opposite, to port, is occasional seating and a secondary (lower) helm position, allowing the boat to be controlled from inside in poor weather. The saloon has 6ft 4 inches of headroom. The saloon also has a TV and a stereo radio system.

Aft Master Cabin

Located aft of the saloon is the owner’s cabin, providing a spacious double berth, arranged as an offset berth. This cabin benefits from generous wardrobe and locker storage and typically features its own en-suite heads compartment with toilet and shower, making it a comfortable private suite for extended cruising. The Heads compartment has a 150-litre holding tank.

Galley

Forward and down a couple of steps from the saloon is the galley, positioned to starboard. It is well equipped for cruising and fitted with a single sink, two-burner electric hob, refrigerator, Microwave and ample worktop and storage space.

Forward Cabin

In the bow is the guest cabin, arranged with V-berths that can convert into a double using an infill. This cabin also includes shelving and locker storage, making it suitable for guests or family members staying aboard.

Heads and Facilities

Opposite the galley is the day heads compartment, equipped with a marine toilet and wash basin, including a separate shower area.

Summary
Overall, the Broom 33 provides comfortable six-berth accommodation in two separate cabins plus a convertible saloon, with a practical galley, two heads compartments, and a spacious aft owner’s cabin. The traditional timber interior and well-separated layout make it particularly suitable for extended inland or coastal cruising. It benefits from pressurised hot and cold water with 200 litres of water. Hot water is heated by the engine and via a 240V immersion heater. The vessel also has an Eberspacher D2 diesel cabin heating system.
