This 1984 Nauticat 38 offers the spacious, well-crafted interior for which Nauticat yachts are renowned, combining Scandinavian craftsmanship with excellent liveaboard comfort. She provides accommodation for up to six across two private cabins and the saloon, with generous headroom and abundant natural light throughout.
Forward, the guest cabin features a comfortable V-berth with storage lockers and access to the forward heads, equipped with an electric marine toilet new in 2019, basin, and shower facilities with hot and cold pressurised water. Moving aft, the wheelhouse saloon offers a bright and welcoming living space with large windows, a raised seating and dining area, and excellent visibility from the inside helm position.
The galley, located to port and conveniently positioned adjacent to the saloon, is well designed for use at sea and in harbour. Built in 1984, this Siltala Yachts, Nauticat 38 has a white GRP hull with Teak decks. It has teak seats in the cockpit aft area. Wheel steering in the wheelhouse and in the aft cockpit area. Teak toe rails. Stainless steel stanchions, pulpit. Glass Windows in the wheelhouse. Walk through the transom gate to the bathing ladder down to the bathing platform. This yacht was purchased by the current owner in 2019 and has undergone a significant refit, including a new engine, new rigging, new electronics, new work surfaces and much more. The owner is selling due to family commitments, and the distance to the yacht means that he doesn't have time to use it currently. The yacht was last out of the water in April 2025 to July 2025 when it was antifouled, hull polished, and anodes changed.

Sails and Spars:
This Nauticat 38 has a Bermudan Cutter rig, with a Selden aluminium deck-stepped mast, mizzen and booms, with stainless steel standing that was replaced in 2019 and terelyne running rigging. The yacht has a Harken furling headsail, new furler 2019 and staysail, slab reefing mainsail and mizzen. All lines are led to the base of each mast, and some back to the aft deck.

This Nauticat 38 has a single,85HP 2019 4-cylinder Beta Marine diesel engine with Morse controls. This engine is powering a shaft drive to a 3-blade propeller. Some service history is available. The engine has only completed 200 hours as of 20th November 2025 and was last serviced in April 2025
This 4-cylinder Beta Marine diesel engine is supplied by a 496 litre capacity stainless steel fuel tank. The yacht will cruise at approximately 7 knots under engine and has a maximum speed of approximately 8 knots.
A new through-tunnel Bow thruster was fitted in 2020 with its own dedicated battery.
Electrical Systems:
5 x 12v AMG batteries (3 x 110Ah Domestic new 2020, 1 x 110Ah Engine new 2020 1 x 110AH Bowthruster new 2020). All batteries are charged from the engine alternator and a 240V Victron battery charger, via the 240V shore power ring main system, which also has a hot water immersion heater attached. and two solar panels mounted on the wheelhouse roof. There is also a 1000 Watt inverter fitted.
